Il a réinstallé windows après formatage, réinstallé les drivers et pilotes à l’aide du CD d’utilitaires et pilotes mais n’ai toujours pas de son…a t-il oublié une étape…
Est-ce quelque pourrait le dépanner “simplement” (sans trop de vocabulaire technique) ?

Have you had any experiences with the Toshiba Satellite U400, and if so – would it be your number one choice for the mid-range laptop market?
Présenté discrètement au Mexique, le Satellite NB105 de Toshiba semble être le premier netbook du constructeur japonais. Les contours de ce mini PC portable restent très professionnels, aux antipodes du design “fun” et coloré que ceux proposé par les concurrents.
Il faudra attendre encore quelques semaines son lancement officiel en Europe. En juillet dernier, Toshiba avait confirmé qu’il préparait un mini PC portable sans pour autant préciser si cette future machine ferait partie de la catégorie des netbooks.
Das ist doch schön wenn mal alles klappt, oder? So ist es Horst gegangen, er hat Ubuntu 8.04 auf seinem Toshiba Satellite S 5200-801 installiert und es ging schnell, proplemlos und einfach.
Er selbst war vorher, wie er sagt ein “absolut blutiger Linux Laien der einfach nichtmehr doof ins Fenster glotzen wollte” und scheint jetzt ein begeisterter Linux User zu sein. Seine ganze Story findet ihr hier.
Das ganz ist auch noch top aktuell, da es bald das neuen Toshiba Netbook NB-100 gibt, was standardmässig mit Linux ausgeliefert wird und laut winfuture.de handelt es sich dabei um Ubuntu.
Also vielleicht lohnt sich schon mal ein Blick in die Ubuntu-Welt !

Ooh – rumours broke a week or so ago about Toshiba plunging into the netbook market in the coming months, and it seems that the word of JK On the Run is indeed gospel. For lo, with official announcement heralded from Toshiba, hexus.com have brought images of the Satellite NB105 – with the author reliably informing us that “It’s quite the looker!”
He continues “unlike the plain white and plastic-like appearance of many other netbooks, Toshiba’s ultra-portable system retains the look of sophistication found on its full-size notebooks.” GottaBeMobile are not quite so impressed suggesting “the SatelliteNB105 Netbook looks like what we all thought it would”, although Fudzilla hover somewhere between the line and muse that really it “looks quite smart”. The NB100 comes with an 8.9’’ WSVGA 1024 x 600 LCD panel with an LED backlight. It is powered by the latest Intel Atom CPU and comes in two variants, one with Ubuntu Netbook Remix 1.0 and the other with Windows XP Home. However, pricing is yet to be confirmed, so it is very difficult to know if what Hexus deem as “run-of-the-mill” specifications will prove to be excellent value, and make this Satellite a true contender in the netbooks market alone.
Keep an eye out though, as it’s expected to reach the shelves in November!

Bei der Austattung hat Eeepcnews.de größenteils recht behalten, nur beim Namen hat sich was geändert.

Nachdem das Toshiba Satellite P300-17N, bei Test von Chip.de sehr gut weggekommen ist und für sein Spitzen-Design zum kleinen Preis gelobt wurde, schien der leistungsstärkere Kollege, das Toshiba Satellite P300-17C, nicht so sehr zu überzeugen. Es wurde bei pcwelt.de getestet.
Das Design wurde wieder positiv hervorgehoben:
Schon beim ersten Eindruck kann das Toshiba-Notebook Pluspunkte sammeln: Sein Design gefällt mit einer unauffälligen Musterung.
Aber da es auf Grund der besseren Ausstattung (T8100 Prozessor, 500GB Festplatte, 4 GB RAM und besserer Grafikkarte …) auch gleich in eine andere Preisklasse gefallen ist, ca. 1180€, wurden auch andere Anforderungen gestellt denen es so nicht gerecht werden konnte. Es fehlte an der Mobilität und der Leistungsfähigkeit der Grafikkarte für die neuen Computerspiele, deshalb musste es sich auch mit 42 Punkten abfinden. Hier gelangt ihr zum Test.
Da muss wahrscheinlich jeder für sich abwägen, was er von einem Notebook erwartet. In der Satellite P300 Serie gibt es ja in fast jeder Preisklasse ein Modell. Eine Übersicht findet ihr hier bei Toshiba.
Da ist es mal wieder die Frage, welches Notebook ist das Richtige? Tobi5887, vom notebookforum.at Forum, hat sich zu mindestens schon auf einen Preis von rund 800€ festgelegt und auch schon zwei Favoriten rausgesucht:
Einmal der “Toshiba Satellite A300-1LO” der in der aktullen Media Markt Werbung zu finden ist für 799€ und dem “Acer Aspire 5920G-6A4G32MN” von Notebooksbilliger.de für 749€.
Jetzt ist natürlich die Frage, welches ist besser geeignet. Bis jetzt hat ihm noch keiner weitergeholfen, also wenn ihr eine Meinung dazu habt, dann tut ihm doch den gefallen und schreibt hier ins Forum. Vielen Dank!
