Zur Ausstattung des Netbooks zählt ein 1.2 GHz Core 2 Duo Prozessor , bis zu 3 GB Ram , eine 128 GB SSD Festplatte oder wahlweise eine normale 160 GB Festplatte , WLan 802.11 b/g/n sowie das 12.1 Zoll große Display mit einer Auflösung von 1280 x 800.

Für mich klingt das ganz nach dem Ausstattungsmerkmalen des Dynabook SS RX2, von dem vor zwei Wochen die Rede war. Das wiederum würde heißen, dass wir uns auf 12h Akku Laufzeit freuen können.

Bereits Ende Oktober werden wir es genau wissen, denn dann soll das Dynabook bereits auf den Markt kommen. Preis ist noch nicht bekannt, er wird auf 1200 € mit HDD Festplatte und auf 1930 € mit SSD Festplatte geschätzt.

Erst hab ich gedacht ich bin auf einer Toshiba Werbeseite gelandet, aber nein Julian ist einfach nur zufrieden mit seinem Toshiba A200-260. Aber lest selbst:

Mein neues Notebook der Marke Toshiba ist absolut solide verbaut, die Haptik ist absolut hochwertig und lässt keine Rückschlüsse auf das gute Preis / Leistungsverhältnis ziehen. Der Deckel ist in einer sehr dunkel-blauen Klavierlackoptik gehalten, das Glare-Typ-Display stört, entgegen meiner Erwartungen überhaupt nicht, denn die Spiegelung ist im aktiven Zustand gar nicht mehr wahr zu nehmen.
Die Tastatur, wie auch das Touchpad sind in einem futuristisch anmutendem Silber gehalten, und die zwei Hochtöner über der Tastatur, sowie ein Tieftöner unter dem Notebook sorgen für einen wirklich erstklassigen Sound.

Da kann man nur gratulieren zu der guten Wahl und hoffen, dass es auch weiter so geht. Den ganzen Artikel findet ihr hier und klingt so als ob wir bald noch mehr vom Super-Notebook erfahren werden.

Wer hätte das gedacht Focus, genau das Nachrichten Magazin, hat ein Gadget-Blog. Dort findet man auch ein interessanter Bericht über das Toshiba Qosmio X300.

Interessant ist das Ganze, weil -was würde man anders bei Focus erwarten- keine Hardcore Zocker in der Online Redaktion sitzen, sondern Matthias Matting der versucht hat das Gerät unter Spieler-Kriterien zu bewerten. Schon der erste Satz ist einfach nur ehrlich:

Das Toshiba Qosmio X300 kann man nicht wirklich als hübsch bezeichnen - den Geschmack seiner Zielgruppe, der Computerspieler, wird der in flammendem Rot gehaltene Notebook-Riese aber trotzdem treffen, da bin ich sicher.

Man merkt schnell, dass er sich selbst nicht mit dem Gerät identifizieren kann, aber er bewertet trotzdem aus einer fairen Sichtweise - nach den Wünschen der Zielgruppe.

Natürlich ist der Bildschirm verspiegelt aber für Büroarbeiter ist das Gerät ja sowieso nicht gedacht, am besten sitzt man im Halbdunklen davor.

Und genau dieser Witz macht es zu einem echt lesenswerten Bericht, den ihr hier findet.

Außerdem zeigt es ganz gut, dass das X300 wirklich die Geister scheidet. Bei PC Games Hardware konnte das X300-11L eine “gutes Gut” bekommen (1,67) und bei notebookjournal.de hat es dann nur noch für ein “Befriedigend” gereicht.

Vielleicht wurde mit unterschiedlichen Maßstab gemessen oder auch nur aus unterschiedlicher Sichtweise.

Aspiring guitarist and novice video editor extraordinaire, she has entered a competition with a company called guitarrig, and recorded one of her songs – and crafted a real rather super video for it.

OK, so we’re not sure about the monotone robot on vocals – but the guitar-work is spot-on and the visuals she has created with her Guitar Rig 3 software on Toshiba laptop Intel dual core with Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1 operating system are simply great.

Usually it’s best to focus on individual laptops when dipping into specifications, capabilities and performance of notebooks – but just so often one feels the need to talk about the whole range - and thus, this discussion of the Toshiba Qosmio G303012E on buzzle.com proceeded, discussing not just the specific G303012E model, but indeed the Qosmio range in general.

“The Qosmio range from Toshiba will keep you entertained 24×7. According to many, Qosmio means “my personal universe”. The Toshiba Qosmio will definitely become your own personal universe and you will definitely be hooked on to it all the time” – they begin, and go on to wax lyrical some more about their experiences with the device.

Das Qosmio X300-11L wurde bei PC Games Hardware getestet und die fanden es als moblie Spielestation richtig gut und haben gleich mal ein 1,67 vergeben.

“Das X300-11L ist schnell, schwer und wohlklingend. Spieler, die über die Display-Mängel hinwegsehen können, greifen zu. Das Gerät ist bereits unter 1.500 Euro lieferbar.”

Wenn die Redaktion von der Leistungsfähigkeit des “kleinen X300″ schon so begeistert ist, da würde ich mich mal interresieren wie es beim Qosmio X300-13E, dem fast doppelt so teuren Modell, aussieht.

Since the official announcement yesterday, it seems that news of the Toshiba netbook has been flowing out to all sorts of websites, and even The Guardian are getting involved. ”Toshiba, while not first out of the blocks, could be a player in the netbook market against the Asus Eee PC and similar machines” they say, and Engadget confirm “The NB100 will be offered in three colors, Cosmic Black, Champagne Gold, and Bright Silver” - although they are less than complimentary about the device itself.

However, most excitingly of all - Nilay at Engadget has uncovered this video of the Netbook. It has no sound, and is far from absolute professional quality, but have a look and see what you think…

Ooh – rumours broke a week or so ago about Toshiba plunging into the netbook market in the coming months, and it seems that the word of JK On the Run is indeed gospel. For lo, with official announcement heralded from Toshiba, hexus.com have brought images of the Satellite NB105 – with the author reliably informing us that “It’s quite the looker!”

He continues “unlike the plain white and plastic-like appearance of many other netbooks, Toshiba’s ultra-portable system retains the look of sophistication found on its full-size notebooks.” GottaBeMobile are not quite so impressed suggesting “the Satellite NB105 Netbook looks like what we all thought it would”, although Fudzilla hover somewhere between the line and muse that really it “looks quite smart”. Let us know what you think.

The NB100 comes with an 8.9’’ WSVGA 1024 x 600 LCD panel with an LED backlight. It is powered by the latest Intel Atom CPU and comes in two variants, one with Ubuntu Netbook Remix 1.0 and the other with Windows XP Home. However, pricing is yet to be confirmed, so it is very difficult to know if what Hexus deem as “run-of-the-mill” specifications will prove to be excellent value, and make this Satellite a true contender in the netbooks market alone.

Keep an eye out though, as it’s expected to reach the shelves in November!
